The Reserve Terrace Retaining Wall Rebuild is a technical and challenging project for the replacement of a damaged stone retaining wall.

An innovative solution requiring the use of a temporary works platform to support the drilling and excavation plant was required. Hunter Civil provided key inputs into the design and methodology for the temporary works. The temporary works platform was in part connected to the permanent works.

The wall was constructed using 10m steel kingposts and lagged between machined timber logs. An insuti reinforced concrete capping beam was constructed at the top of the wall, steel handrail was fixed to this capping beam.

Following the wall, the road was reconstructed returning it to its previous standard.
