Due to the 4 September & 22 February Christchurch Earthquakes Hunter Civil has been invlolved in numerous emergency and permanent repair solutions:
These have generally comprised developing a total solution for clients involving structural engineer and insurers to expedite a fix that gets our clients up and running in a safe environment as soon as possible.
These have included:
- demolition of 3rd floor masonary building and new build roof solution
- demolition of masonary gables/parapets to reduce ongoing risks
- underpinning and construction new reinforced concrete foundations
- underfloor jacking and repiling
- temporary propping/securing of damaged structures
