This project was undertaken within the Westland National Park, where specific requirements catering for both variable weather conditions and risk management of flash flooding and rock falls were put in place.
An innovative approach combining both precast and in situ concrete elements resulted in these risks being minimised, as the physical works were accelerated by simple, yet very efficient methodologies.
